Addis Ababa, February 3, 2022 (Walta) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and a high level delegation including Oromia Regional State President Shimeles Abdissa visited Yabello Woreda, Borena Zone to further assess challenges of drought affected communities in the area.
Rainfall deficits have led to numerous challenges including feed and fodder shortages and limited water access in the area.
The government is working various with partners to address the drought situation in several parts of three regional states.
