Addis Ababa, February 2, 2022(Walta) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Demeke Mekonnen had a meeting today with Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Namibia.
In the meeting that took place on the margins of the ongoing AU ministerial session, the two sides deliberated bilateral relationships and issues of common concern.
Demeke also had talks with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Cameroon, Lejeune Mbella Mbella. The two sides discussed bilateral issues.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister thanked the government of Cameroon for standing by Ethiopia during the recent UN human rights special session on Ethiopia in Geneva.
Lejueune Mbella Mbella, on his part, expressed his country’s interest to strengthen bilateral relationships with Ethiopia with extended engagements in agriculture and joint political consultations.
